（1） Routine Maintenance
Please always have the water meter covered by its lid to prevent LCD from UV
damage and also mind the Battery Power Shortage Symbol on LCD. Don't place
bulky objects upon the Woltmann Water Meter. Cable joint shall not be submerged
in water, and tugging cable shall be avoided.
（2） Troubleshooting
Totalizer is increasing at an abnormal rate:
1. Check the pipelines and confirm if any apparent vibration happens.
2. Remove the cable joint and operate the water meter to see if the problem is solved.
3. Send the water meter back to EMS for inspection.
Totalizer is decreasing at an abnormal rate or the water meter stops operating:
1. Confirm the water meter's installation direction.
2. Make sure the flow rate in pipeline is higher than the minimum flow rate of the
water meter.
3. Inspect water meter chamber and see if there is any object struck in the water
meter.
4. Send the water meter back to EMS for inspection.
（3） Battery Power Shortage
Check Battery Power Shortage Symbol. If the battery symbol has been
displayed on the electronic register, please contact EMS for immediately assistance.
（4） Woltmann Water Meter cannot display Smart functions or Magnetic
Symbol:
1. Confirm whether the magnet is damaged or not.
