The mobile application is used to pair cameras to a mobile phone, add cameras to VehicleManager and ClientPortal, perform camera installation, and manage installed cameras.

Camera List Filtering If the Cameras list grows too long, it can be searched by camera name or filtered down to make finding a specific camera easier.

  • Page 33 • FirstNet Mobile CAUTION: A consumer grade SIM card that is not configured for use with L6Q cameras will incur excessive voice billing charges from the carrier! Voice charges are considered legitimate and cannot be disputed. Only approved Internet of Things (IoT) SIM cards configured for L6Q data should be used with the L6Q camera.

Pairing the camera during pre-installation enables installers to check that the camera is functioning properly in the Camera Details screen before attempting installation.

    The product packaging or Quick Deployment Carry Case can be used to safely transport the camera and accessories to the installation site. The Quick Deployment Carry Case is designed to safely and comfortably carry the L6Q Installation Kit up and down ladders. Prerequisites: The Camera Batteries are fully charged.

    MN010089A01-AA Chapter 3 : Hardware Installation Solar Panel Installation The solar panel assembly and mounting process with be different depending on the solar panel deployment options ordered. Solar Panels can be mounted to a pole with the Metal Band Straps, or to a surface with the Lag Bolts.

    MN010089A01-AA Chapter 3 : Hardware Installation 3.2.1 Battery Charging The internal Camera Batteries and any Solar Panel Batteries in use must be fully charged before proceeding with Hardware Installation. For solar panel deployments, it is recommended to charge the Solar Panel Batteries at the same time as the internal Camera Batteries. NOTE: Failure to fully charge the Camera Batteries and Solar Panel Batteries before installation may cause the batteries to die before there is sufficient power to keep them charged under load.

Procedure: 1 From the Mobile Companion home screen, tap LEARN Mobile. 2 Log on to LEARN Mobile by using the same username and password that was used to log on to Mobile Companion.
