Inhibit Allocation, Allocation Priority

The use of these two pages is optional.
Inhibit Allocation
This page in Desk Editor is used to select paths in the desk configuration that will not be allocated
when the desk configuration is loaded onto the console. This facility is typically used when a desk
configuration is transferred from a large console to a smaller console that has in sufficient
resources to handle the whole configuration.
Allocation Priority
Allocation Priority is used to tell the system which signal paths should be allocated first. This
facility is typically used to protect against losing critical signal paths should the system find
insufficient processing to allocate the whole configuration.
