Tools Required
safety glasses
hammer
3/16 hex key
vice grips
prybar
Breakdown Steps
1. Use a pair of vice grips to clamp down
on the plastic leg glides. Wrenching the
vice grips back and forth will help to
loosen the glides so that they will slide
out of the leg. The use of a hammer to
lightly tap the vice grip may make this
process easier.
2. Locate the tap hole underneath the
area where the back of the seat and the
arms connect. Use a 3/16 hex key to
unscrew the hex bolt (figure B1). After
both are removed, grab the back of the
seat and pull upwards, removing the
back from the metal frame (figure B2).
3.While the seat is upside down, locate
the screws that are holding the seat
to the metal frame (figure C1). Use
a Phillips head to unscrew them and
remove the seat. Then use a pry bar to
pry the seat pan from the bottom of the
seat (figure C2).
4. The final step will be to remove the
arms from the frame. Holding the chair
upside down strike the bottom of the
arms until they slide out of the frame.
