The following mounting position is recommended for DIN-rail mounting:

Installing in an Extension unit box
Required tools
To mount the device in an Extension unit box, you need the following:
• 1 mounting plate for mounting in an Extension unit box
• 1 T20 screwdriver, Torx T20
• 4 M4 hexagon nuts (ISO 4032)
• 4 M4 screws (max. penetration depth 9.5 mm)
Installation
Note
Before mounting, decide whether to connect the following components already before
mounting or in the mounted state:
• Electrical ports
• Connector for power supply
• Serial interface
If the device is mounted in an Extension Unit box, the components mentioned are still
accessible, but may be more difficult to reach.
