19.3 Automatic childproof lock
This function automatically activates the childproof lock
every time the hob is switched off.
20 Pause function
The selected settings are retained while the pause
function is activated, but no power level is used and
the cooking times that have been set will stop.
If you have activated the alarm or the timer, it will con-
tinue running. You cannot change the alarm time when
the pause function is activated.
The lock has no effect on the main switch. You can
switch off the hob at any time.

21 Individual safety switch-off
The safety function is switched on if one cooking zone
is in operation for an extended period and you do not
change any settings. A message appears on the dis-
play and the cooking zone stops heating.
To switch off the display and reset the cooking zone,
touch any button.

You can choose whether or not the brand logo will be displayed when you
switch on the hob.
You can set the warning tones that are emitted by the appliance.

Note: To deactivate the automatic childproof lock,

20.2 Switching off the pause function
To switch off the function before the 30 minutes
