2-5-2. Replacing Rotary Encoder (SW-1334
Board)
1. Remove the back cover. (Refer to Section 2-5-1 step 1.)
2. Remove the two screws to detach the knob cover with
the SW-1334 board.
3. Loosen the rotary encoder knob screw to detach the
rotary encoder knob.
4. Remove the sleeve (ENC2), and remove the SW-1334
board.
5. Disconnect the harness (RE SW) from the connector
(CN1) on the SW-1334 board.

6. Install the rotary encoder (SW-1334 board) by revers-
ing the steps above.

2-5-3. Replacing VTR Start/Stop Switch (SW-
1336 Board)
1. Remove the back cover. (Refer to Section 2-5-1 step 1.)
2. Remove the two screws, and remove the SW-1336 board.
3. Disconnect the red side of the harness (ASSIGN) from
the connector (CN1) on the SW-1336 board.

4. Install the VTR start/stop switch (SW-1336 board) by
reversing the steps above.
2-5-4. Replacing LOCK, VF MENU/DISPLAY,
and CANCEL/STATUS Switches (CN-
2997 Board)
1. Remove the back cover. (Refer to Section 2-5-1 step 1.)
2. Remove the two screws, and remove the CN-2997
board. Be careful not to lose the switch knob (A), drop
protection (SW), or lock sheet that are attached to the
LOCK switch S3.
3. Disconnect the harness (MENU) from the connector
(CN1) on the CN-2997 board.

4. Install the LOCK, VF MENU/DISPLAY, and CAN-
CEL/STATUS switches (CN-2997 board) by reversing
the steps above.
