Anti-Recycle
Anti-Recycle defines the method of motor protection
due to repeated motor starts. The operator has three
options for protection:
Hot Starts: This option will allow only a certain num-
ber of compressor starts in an hour before setting
the time to the anti-recycle timer. The number of
starts to be allowed is set through the "Hot Starts
per Hour" setpoint of the Timers screen.
True: This option adds the time to anti-recycle timer
once the compressor is shutdown, hence forcing a
specific wait time once compressor is stopped and
next compressor start. The wait time required is set
through the "True Anti-Recycle Timer" setpoint of
the Timers screen. The compressor motor cannot
be started if there is anti-recycle time left.
Accumulative: This option immediately adds the
time to anti-recycle timer once the compressor is
started. The time to be added is set through the
"Accumulative Anti-Recycle Timer" setpoint of the
Timers screen. Unlike the True Anti-Recycle Timer,
if the compressor has run for the entire time of the
Accumulative Anti-Recycle Timer and then the com-
pressor stops, the compressor will be allowed to re-
start immediately.
The operator can view anti-recycle time on the Main
screen if "Anti-Recycle" option is selected in Configurable
Main Screen Settings on Page 4.

Compressor VFD

Enables the compressor motor's VFD option.

Restart on Power Failure

This feature of the MicroVission offers the ability to de-
fine how the MicroVission will handle a power failure.
This can also be useful to allow a system controller to re-
gain control of the MicroVission panel without the need
of operator intervention. Below are the options that can
be configured for this.
Always:
When selected, initiates a start after the panel powers
back up after a power failure, but only if the compres-
sor was running before the power failure and starts the
compressor in Auto mode.
Never:
When selected, prevents any automatic action once the
panel powers back up after a power failure.
MicroVission Controller • Operation and Service Manual • Emerson • 35391MV 1.3
Timed:
When selected, initiates a start after the panel powers
back up after a power failure and the operator-set timer
runs out. When there are multiple compressors in a larg-
er system, it is recommended for the operator to give
each compressor a different start time. A restart will only
occur if the compressor was running before the power
failure and starts the compressor in Auto mode.
Remote Lock Off:
When selected, turns the remote lock out off when the
panel powers up. Select this option if the operator wishes
a system controller to regain control of the MicroVission
without human interference.
Boot in Remote (Direct I/O):
When selected, places the panel into Remote Idle mode
when the panel powers up. Select this option when un-
der Direct I/O control and the system controller needs
to gain the control of the MicroVission without human
interference.
If Always or Timed is configured in Restart on Power
Failure and if the compressor was running before
power failure, then After the powers back up, When
the compressor restarts in auto mode due to Auto
Restart, the "Start" event with a message "Auto
Restart" will get logged in the Event List, Instead of
"Auto".
If Always or Timed is configured in Restart on Power
Failure and if the compressor was running before
power failure, then After the powers back up, if
Stop Button is pressed or Remote Compressor Stop
Command is given through MODBUS or Ethernet
IP before the compressor auto restarts, then
Auto Restart is Aborted and a "Stop" event with a
message "Auto Restart Aborted" will get logged in
the Event List screen.
If the compressor is started in any of the run
mode before auto restart, then auto restart will be
aborted, but the "Auto Restart Aborted" event will
not get logged, instead of that the start event of the
run mode in which the compressor started, will be
logged.
