    Element 75 Manual Original Instructions Jul 2020 1) INTENDED USE The intended use of this magnetic drill is to drill holes in ferrous metals. The magnet is used to hold the drill in place whilst the drill is functioning. It is designed for use in fabrication, construction, railways, petrochemical and any other applications when drilling ferrous metal.

    • On completion of the cut, a slug will be ejected. DO NOT operate the machine as the ejected slug may cause injury. • When not in use ALWAYS store the machine in a safe and secure location. • ALWAYS ensure that approved ROTABROACH™ agents conduct repairs.
  • Page 8 • Cutter breakage is usually caused by insecure anchorage, a loosely fitting slide, or a worn bearing in the arbor support. (Refer to routine maintenance instructions). • Only use approved neat cutting fluid, do not use water diluted oil. Rotabroach cutting fluid has been specially formulated to maximize the cutters performance. It is available in 1 litre (RD208) and 5 litre (RD229).
