All service technicians who are responsible for installing, servicing, and
supporting the imageCLASS X MF1643 II Series or imageRUNNER 1643
Series machines must successfully complete the imageCLASS X MF1643 II
Series / imageRUNNER 1643 Series online course, and pass the certification
exam to receive technical support and authorization to sell these products.
D. Prerequisites
There are no prerequisite courses for this product.
Prior to taking the imageCLASS X MF1643 II Series / imageRUNNER 1643
Series Online Training program, a technician is strongly encouraged to
complete the Canon Foundations eLearning course.
Additionally, it is highly recommended the service technician have:
• Prior experience with Canon imageRUNNER and imageCLASS devices
• Experience with taking eLearning courses
• Familiarity with common hand tools to disassemble and service Canon
devices
