Seat Position –
Front-Wheel Drive or Rear-
Wheel Drive
The Rascal Rhythm SL features functionality to
allow the seat position to change the drive
orientation to FRONT-WHEEL DRIVE to REAR-
WHEEL DRIVE.
NEVER ROTATE THE SEAT WHILST SEATED
UNLESS WITH THE HELP OF AN ATTENDANT.

Before attempting to rotate the seat, ensure sure
that:
1. The charger is not connected.
2. That the Powerchair is on level ground
3. Controls are switched-off.
4. FREEWHEEL MODE IS NOT ENGAGED.
5. Ensure Seat Back is in upright position (see Seat
Back Adjustment section).
6. Both Footrests to be in the vertical position (see
Fig. 6)

Drive position can be changed by rotating the seat
1. Locate Seat Rotation Lever (see Fig.7) – With
the powerchair in Rear-Wheel Drive position (as
Fig. 4) and then raise and hold lever and then rotate
seat 180° clockwise to the Front-Wheel Drive
position (see Fig,5)
2. Once Seat is locked in orientation then lower
required footrest at user feet keeping redundant
Footrest in the vertical position.

Warning!
NEVER switch-on the powerchair with
the user seated when not in the FRONT-WHEEL
DRIVE OR REAR-WHEEL DRIVE position.
Warning!
Never attempt drive with the seat
rotated at a side-ways angle.
