If your Rascal 320 won't move after replacing the batteries, possible reasons include:
1. Incorrect Battery Connection: The batteries may not be wired correctly. Ensure the positive and negative terminals are connected properly and securely.
2. Main Circuit Breaker Tripped: Check the circuit breaker or reset button, usually located near the battery compartment. Press the reset button if it has tripped.
3. Motor or Controller Fault: If the controller or motor is damaged or not receiving power, the scooter won't move.
4. Key Switch or Throttle Issue: If the key switch isn't working or the throttle lever is faulty, the scooter may not respond.
5. Brake Engaged: Ensure the freewheel lever is in the correct (drive) position. If it's set to freewheel, the scooter won't move under power.
6. Loose or Corroded Connections: Inspect all wiring and terminals for corrosion or looseness, especially around the battery, controller, and motor.
7. Battery Voltage Too Low: Even new batteries can be undercharged. Check the voltage with a multimeter to ensure it's within the correct range.
Check each of these areas to identify and fix the issue.
