Installation Guide
The Aruba 370P Series outdoor wireless access points (AP-374P, AP-375P and AP-377P) support IEEE 802.11ac
Wave 2 standard, delivering high performance with the MU-MIMO (Multi-User Multiple-Input, Multiple-Output)
technology, while also supporting 802.11a/b/g/n wireless services.
The 370P Series outdoor wireless access points provide the following capabilities:
IEEE802.11a/b/g/n/ac operation as a wireless access point
IEEE802.11a/b/g/n/ac operation as a wireless air monitor
IEEE802.11a/b/g/n/ac spectrum monitor
Compatibility with IEEE 802.3at PoE

The weatherproof caps for Ethernet, Console, and power interfaces are connected to the access point, not
loose in the package.
Mounting kits for use with the 370P Series access points are sold separately. Contact your Aruba sales
representative for details.
Inform your supplier if there are any incorrect, missing, or damaged parts. If possible, retain the carton,
including the original packing materials. Use these materials to repack and return the unit to the supplier if
needed.

    (47 CFR 1.80). Pre-Installation Network Requirements The instructions in this section are applicable to the 370P Series access points running ArubaOS only. After WLAN planning is complete and the appropriate products and their placement have been determined, the Aruba controller(s) must be installed and initial setup performed before the Aruba access points are deployed.

    Identifying Specific Installation Locations You can mount the 370P Series access point on a wall or pole. Use the AP placement map generated by Aruba’s RF Plan software application to determine the proper installation location(s). Each location should be as close as possible to the center of the intended coverage area and should be free from obstructions or obvious sources of interference.
