INSTALL MESH BAGS (FIGURE 17)
CAUTION: MAKE SURE the heat resistant
(smooth side) side of the mesh bags are facing
the unit.
1. Install mesh bags (3) on bagger frame. Make sure
that the heat-resistant side of the mesh bags face
the unit.

Install Hose
1. Trim off 3" of hose before installing.
2. Install bagger hose (7) on bagger boot assembly
and bagger cover assembly.
WARNING: AVOID INJURY. Read and
understand the entire Safety section before
proceeding.
1. Flip up thumb latch and remove bagger hose from
bagger cover assembly and bagger boot assembly
(see figure 18 on page 15).
2. Remove bagger boot assembly (for model 815037,
see figure 10 on page 11; for model 815038, see
see figure 13 on page 12).
3. Remove mesh bags (item 3) (see figure 17 on
page 15).
4. Remove bagger frame and cover assembly, bagger
straps and all mounting hardware (see figure 15 on
page 13). The mounting plate weldment (1) and the
front weight tray can remain on the unit for further
use.

3. Flip up thumb latch and push bagger hose into the
latch. Flip down the latch, making sure the latch is
attached to a rib on the hose. See Figure 18.

5. Remove the cast iron weight from the front weight
tray (see figure 6 on page 10).
6. Model 815037: Remove high-lift blade vane and
mounting hardware (see figure 8 on page 11).
Reinstall baffle bracket on 34" deck (see figure 9 on
page 11).
Model 815038: Reinstall discharge chute and
discharge chute bracket (see figure 11 on page 12).
