INSTALLING BAGGER BOOT
(815037 ONLY)
Remove Baffle Bracket
1. Remove two hex bolts and nuts retaining baffle
bracket to underside of deck and remove baffle
bracket. Save bracket and hardware. See Figure 7.
NOTE: Discharge chute can remain attached to deck.

Installing High-Lift Blade Vanes
WARNING: On multi-blade mowers, rotation of
one mower blade will cause all blades to rotate.
WARNING: Mower blades are sharp and can
cut you. Wrap the blades or wear gloves, and
use extra caution when servicing them.
1. Mount two blade vanes (34) on the discharge-side
mower blade with four 5/16-24 x .75 hex bolts (35)
and four 5/16-24 lock nuts (36). Tighten to 10-19
lb-ft (13.6 - 25.8 Nm). See Figure 8.

IMPORTANT: High-lift blade vanes must be installed on
the discharge-side blade. Always install high-lift blade
vanes before operating unit with bagger attached. Always
remove high-lift blade vanes when operating mower
without bagger attached.
Install Deck Boot
WARNING: Keep lug bolt hardware for
re-installation when the bagger kit is removed.
1. Remove and retain the plug bolts and flange nuts
from the mower deck.
NOTE: Deck is shown with the discharge chute removed
for the clarity of the illustrations. DO NOT remove the
discharge chute to install the boot.
2. Install the bagger boot mount bracket (32) on the
deck and then install the bagger boot (31) on the
deck with two 5/16-18 nyloc clamping knobs (37).
