Function
Inoperative
Be sure all other
functions operate
normally.
Be sure the circuit
breaker and fuses
are not tripped or
blown.
Be sure the
batteries are fully
charged and
properly connected.
Part No. 72965
With key switch turned
0V
to platform controls and
both Emergency Stop
buttons pulled out to the
position, move the
ON
lift/drive select switch
TS16 to the drive
position. Press and hold
the function enable
switch SW5. Press the
thumb rocker switch
SW5 on top of the
joystick controller JC3 in
the direction indicated
by the blue arrow.
Check voltage on OR
wire at steer left
solenoid valve Y4.
24V
0 or
Disconnect the wires
infinite
from Y4 and measure
ohms
the coil resistance See
Repair Section.
23 to 26 ohms
Repair or replace the
plaftorm up directional
valve cartrige (item C, G
or E) OR consult Genie
Industries Service
Department.

Repair open in circuit
from Y4 through steer
left control relay CR53
to voltage divider U14.
Replace coil on Y4.
