VEGACAP 35 • Relay (DPDT)
Cause
Wrong mode selected
Operating voltage too low
Shortcircuit in the probe,
e.g. because of moisture in
the housing
Electronics defective
Remove the electronics module. Check the resistance between the
two plug connections.
There must no longer be a connection (high impedance). If there is
still a connection, exchange the instrument or return it for repair
Rectification
Set the correct mode on the mode switch (A - overflow
protection, B - dry run protection). Wiring should be car-
ried out according to the idle current principle.
Check operating voltage
Remove the electronics module. Check the resistance
between the marked plug connections. See the follow-
ing instructions.
Press the mode switch (A/B). If the instrument then
changes the mode, the instrument may be mechani-
cally damaged. Should the switching function in the
correct mode still be faulty, return the probe for repair.
Push the mode switch. If the probe then does not
change the mode, the electronics module may be de-
fective. Exchange the electronics module.
