ELIMINATION OF TAPE SLACK
Before inserting the Cassette Tape in the Compact VHS
Movie, take up slack in the tape by turning the Takeup Reel
Gear on the side of the Cassette Tape. Turn it in the
direction of the arrow until no slack is evident and opposite
reel begins to turn.

CASSETTE TAPE
As in Fig. 7, hold the cassette tape vertically to insert or
remove the cassette tape.
(Be sure to eliminate slack before inserting the cassette
tape.)

SERVICE OF CAPSTAN UNIT
Since the CAPSTAN UNIT has already been adjusted at the
factory, do not try to adjust the FG Head. The CAPSTAN
UNIT is supplied as a complete assembly as a replacement
part.
