functionality of the ceramic. Each ceramic component is handma-
de, colour differences in glazes both in brightness and colour shade
can occur in nuances from ceramic firing to ceramic firing. These dif-
ferences can clearly occur with the delivery of individual spare part
ceramics and are no reason for complaint. The mechanical proper-
ties are defined in accordance with the current standards and are
implemented in terms of production technology. The resistance of
the glazed surface to cleaning agents is tested according to the cur-
rent standards.
Natural stone cladding
Our stone claddings are natural products. Different grains, quartz-
like lines, quartz inclusions or similar, colour nuances and colour
deviations, different stone inclusions or similar are no reason for
complaint.
The uniqueness of these natural products means that you have a
unique piece installed in your living room. For absolute uniformi-
ty of claddings, only „artificial" products are available, i.e. ceramic or
sheet metal.
The aforementioned deviations in ceramic and natural stone clad-
ding do not result in warranty claims.
Rights under the warranty
Within the warranty period, we will remedy all material defects that
can be proven to be due to production and/or material defects. The
defect shall be remedied at our discretion by repair or delivery of a
defect-free item, within a reasonable period of time, by us or a spe-
cialist company authorised by us.
The material defect must be reported to Olsberg immediately, at the
latest, however, within two weeks after detection, via the responsib-
le specialist company. If the material defect is reported in good time
within the warranty period, the defect will be remedied even after
the warranty period has expired.
The repair of a material defect under warranty does not extend the
warranty periods for the entire product.
In cases where goods are taken back, Olsberg is entitled to assert
the following claims for transfer of use and reduction in value:
a) Expenses such as transport, assembly, insurance costs, etc. in the
amount actually incurred
b) The following flat rates shall apply to depreciation and compen-
sation for use for the transfer of use of the delivered goods:
ū In the first year, 15% of the list price valid at the time of purchase wit-
hout deductions
ū In the second year, 25% of the list price valid at the time of
purchase without deductions
ū In the third year, 30% of the list price valid at the time of purchase
without deductions
Liability
Further or other claims, in particular those for compensation for da-
mage occurring outside the device, are excluded, insofar as liability
is not mandatorily ordered by law.
Olsberg is not liable for direct or indirect damage caused by equip-
ment. This also includes room soiling caused by decomposition pro-
cesses of organic dust components, the pyrolysis products of which
can deposit as a dark coating on wallpaper, furniture, textiles and
stove parts. Effects of fogging are also excluded from liability.
We reserve the right to make technical changes
Customer service
In the event of unauthorised use of our customer service, all custo-
mer service costs (travel and transport costs, freight and packaging
costs, material and fitter costs, plus statutory VAT) shall be borne in
full by the client.
Note
We would like to inform you that our efficient service organisation is
available to you at a charge even after the warranty periods have ex-
pired. However, your first port of call is the specialist company from
which you purchased your high-quality stove.
You will receive separate estimates for services outside these war-
ranty conditions.
The guarantees given are voluntary additional services by Olsberg
and are only valid for the territory of the Federal Republic of
Germany.
