Setting up a configuration environment

Set up a configuration environment by connecting the console port of the
LSQM1WCMB0 access controller module to a console terminal, a PC in this example
(see Figure 5

Connecting the console cable

Connect the DB-9 female connector of the console cable to the serial port of the

Connect the RJ-45 connector of the console cable to the console port of the

Setting terminal parameters

Before configuring your access controller module through a console terminal, a PC
running Microsoft Windows XP, for example, you must set the following parameters for
the console terminal:

Bits per second: 9600

Data bits: 8

Parity: none

Stop bits: 1

Flow control: none
