Connecting the console cable

Connect the console cable before configuring the LSQM1WCMB0 using a console
terminal device (such as a PC):
Connect the DB-9 female connector of the console cable to the serial port of the

PC.
Connect the RJ-45 connector of the console cable to the console port of the

LSQM1WCMB0. Be sure to plug the cable into the correct port.
CAUTION:
The console port is clearly identified. Be sure to plug the cable into the correct port.
NOTE:
When the LSQM1WCMB0 is powered on, H3C recommends using the following order when
connecting or disconnecting the console cable:
 When connecting the LSQM1WCMB0 to a PC, first connect the DB-9 connector of the console
cable to the PC and then connect the RJ-45 connector to the LSQM1WCMB0.
 When removing the connection, first unplug the RJ-45 connector and then unplug the DB-9
connector.
