Make sure that the stack height is below the maximum paper fill indicator. Overfilling may cause paper
jams.

Insert the tray.
If necessary, set the paper size and type to match the paper loaded in the tray.
Loading the manual feeder

Adjust the edge guides to match the width of the paper that you are loading.
Note: Make sure that the guides fit snugly against the paper, but not too tight as to cause the paper to
buckle.

Load a sheet of paper with the printable side facedown.
Note: Make sure that the paper is loaded straight to avoid skewed or crooked print.
