TROUBLESHOOTING
Caution! Before troubleshooting, disconnect the power supply. Any troubleshooting not
outlined in this user guide must only be performed by a licenced trade professional.
Important! During normal operation this appliance may generate noises (compressor &
refrigerant circulation etc.)
Problem
Appliance does not
work.
Appliance freezes or
cools too much.
The food is not frozen
enough.
Heavy build-up of
frost on the door seal.
Possible cause
Plug is not plugged in or is
loose.
Fuse has blown or is
defective.
Outlet is defective.
Temperature is set too
low, or the appliance is in
Super Freezing mode.
Freezer temp is too high.
Door was left open for an
extended period.
A large quantity of warm
food was placed in the
appliance within the last
24 hours.
The appliance is near a
heat source.
Door seal is not airtight.
Solution
Fully insert the plug into
an electrical outlet.
Check fuse, replace
if necessary.
Consult a licenced
electrician.
Temporarily adjust the
temperature to a warmer
setting.
Lower the freezer
temperature.
Do not keep the door
open longer than
necessary.
Temporarily adjust the
temperature to a colder
setting.
Remove the heat source
or consider an alternate
location for the appliance.
Carefully warm the
leaking sections of the
door seal using a hair
dryer (on a cool setting).
Shape the softened door
seal by hand until it is
seated correctly.
