Storage of frozen food
To obtain the optimal performance from this appliance:
• Ensure that commercially frozen food was adequately stored by the retailer.
• Ensure that frozen food is transferred from the food store to the freezer in the shortest
possible time.
• Avoid opening the door frequently or leave it open longer than necessary.
• Once defrosted, food deteriorates rapidly and cannot be re-frozen.
• Do not exceed the storage period indicated by the food manufacture.
Fresh food refrigeration
To obtain the optimal performance from this appliance:
• Do not store warm food or evaporating liquids in the refrigerator.
• Ensure you cover or wrap the food, particularly if it has a strong flavour.
• Cooked foods and cold dishes should be covered and placed on fridge shelves.
• Fruit and vegetables should be thoroughly cleaned and placed in the
crispers/convertible zones.
• Butter and cheeses should be placed in airtight containers, wrapped in aluminium foil
or zip locks bags to avoid exposure to air.
• Milk bottles should have a cap and should be stored in the racks on the doors.
• Once peeled bananas, potatoes, onions and garlic, should be kept in the fridge.
