- Page 3 Principle of Operation The Barksdale level switches are supplied completely assembled. The level switches are installed through the tank top or bottom side. Sufficient distance must be kept to the tank wall and any installations. The float must move freely.
- Page 4 Inductive Loads Capacitive Loads and Lamp Loads Direct current (DC): Connect recovery diode parallel to the load, see picture 4. Increased inrush currents occur for capacitive loads and lamp loads. High inrush currents can lead to disturbances – even to fusing of contacts.
