RIGHT AND LEFT LATCH SWITCHES, STOP SWITCH AND MONITOR SWITCH ADJUSTMENT
If the right latch switch, left latch switch, stop switch and
monitor switch do not operate properly due to a mis-
adjustment, the following adjustment should be made.
1. CARRY OUT 3D CHECKS.
2. Remove the outer frame assembly referring to "Outer
Frame Assembly Removal".
3. Loosen the one (1) screw holding the latch hook to the
oven cavity face plate for each of right and left side.
4. Adjustment the both latch hooks by moving it back and
forward or up and down. No door play allow with tight
fit on the door closed position.
5. Secure the screws with washers firmly.
6. Make sure of the right latch, left latch, stop and monitor
switches operation. If the switches do not activated
with the door closed completely, repeat above
procedure.
After the adjustment, make sure of the following:
1. The monitor switch contacts close when the door is
opened.
1. Remove the five (5) screws.
2. Open the door , push the two hooks of lower frame by
using flat type screw driver and pull the sash to front
side.
3. Remove other hooks of top, right and left side and then
the outer frame assembly can be removed.
DOOR REPLACEMENT
1. CARRY OUT 3D CHECKS.
2. Remove turntable tray and turntable support from oven
cavity.
3. Remove the outer frame assembly, referring to "Outer
Frame Assembly Removal".
4. Remove the door cam spring and door cam from the
base plate.
5. Loosen three (3) screws on the right oven hinge,
remove the three (3) screws holding the left hinge and
remove the door assembly.
6. Door assembly is now free.
NOTE: When individual parts are replaced, refer to "Door
Disassembly".

2. The contact of right latch, left latch and stop switches
open within 1.2mm gap between upper side of cavity
face plate and door when door is open.
3. Re-install the outer case and check for microwave
leakage around the door with an approved microwave
survey meter. (Refer to Microwave Measurement.)

7. On re-installing door, insert the right oven hinge into the
door hinge pin.
8. Then while holding door in place. Make sure door is
parallel with oven face lines (left and upper side lines)
and the door latch heads pass through the latch holes
correctly.
9. Insert the left oven hinge to the base plate and the door
hinge pin.
10.Then secure the right and left hinges firmly with the six
(6) mounting screws. Then secure the outer frame
sash.
NOTE: After any service to the door;
Make sure that the right latch, left latch, stop and
monitor switches are operating properly. (Refer to
chapter "Test Procedures".)
