Installation

This section describes installation of the Connect-IWS wireless terminal, PoE power
injector and surge suppression device. The installer will need to complete the following
activities as part of the installation procedure for the Connect-IWS radio.

Installation Steps

4.1 Preparation
1. Review the installation overview
2. Review the Site Survey section to ensure all installation requirements are
complete and all installation materials are available.
3. Assemble antenna with mounting bracket.
4. Connect and weatherproof RF lead-in cables

1. Install antenna on Mast

1. Install Connect-IWS
2. Install RF Surge Arrestors
3. Connect and weatherproof antenna lead-in cables
