Steps
1. Place the system board on the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
2. Align the ports on the system board with the ports on the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
3. Align the screw holes on the system board with the screw holes on the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
4. Replace the three screws (M2x2) that secure the system board to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
5. Place the Type-C port-bracket on the system board and align the screw holes of the Type-C port-bracket with the screw
holes on the system board.
6. Replace the two screws (M2x4) that secure the Type-C port-bracket to the system board.
7. Replace the Mylar over the Type-C port-bracket.
8. Connect the power-button board cable to its connector on the the system board.
9. Connect the I/O board cable to its connectors on the system board and the I/O board and close the latches.
10. Connect the touchpad cable to its connector on the system board and close the latch.
11. Connect the speaker cable to its connector on the system board.
12. Connect the power-adapter port cable to its connector on the system board.
13. Adhere the tape that secures the power-adapter port cable to its connector on the system board.
14. Connect the display-assembly cable to its connector on the system board and close the latch.
15. Adhere the tape that secures the display-assembly cable latch to its connector on the system board.
16. Connect the keyboard-backlight cable to its connector on the system board and close the latch.
17. Connect the keyboard cable to its connector on the system board and close the latch.
Next steps
