Additional inform ation

When you buy a separate TV, VCR, DVD player, receiver, or other com ponents and connect them to each other, you

have to operate each com ponent individually. JVC's AV COM PU LINK rem ote control system m eets the dem and for a

system m ade up of single com ponents and has the ease of operation of a single unit.

Connection and setup

Using the AV COM PU LINK cable, connect the AV COM PU LINK term inals of each com ponent to one another.

• If you connect a DVD player w ith a television via AV COM PU LINK, set the DVD player's AV COM PU LINK setting as

follow s.

• When connecting w ith VIDEO-1 input term inal of the television: DVD2

• When connecting w ith VIDEO-2 input term inal of the television: DVD3

• If you connect a DVD player w ith a television and VCR via AV COM PU LINK, set the VCR's Rem ote Control Code and

DVD player's AV COM PU LINK setting as follow s.

• When connecting w ith VIDEO-1 input term inal of the television:

DVD player's AV COM PU LINK setting: DVD2

VCR's Rem ote Control Code: B

• When connecting w ith VIDEO-2 input term inal of the television:

DVD player's AV COM PU LINK setting: DVD3

VCR's Rem ote Control Code: A

• If you connect a DVD player w ith a television and receiver via AV COM PU LINK, set the DVD player's AV COM PU

LINK setting to DVD1.

• The DVD player's AV COM PU LINK setting is operated in the " PREFERENCE" display. See page 37 for

operation.
