XV-521BK/523GD/522SL Dismantling and assembling the traverse unit 1. Notice regarding replacement of optical pickup Electrostatic discharge (ESD), which occurs when static electricity stored in the body, fabric, etc. is discharged, can destroy the laser diode in the traverse unit (optical pickup). Take care to prevent this when performing repairs to the optical pickup or connected devices.
