Create the Map and Install the PV Modules and Enphase Microinverters

If you installed an Enphase PV system at this site, create the Enphase installation map and install
the PV modules and Enphase Microinverters. You will scan this map later using Installer App and
your mobile device. (See "Method A: Provision Devices with Installer App" on page 18.)
NOTE: You can find an Enphase installation map at the back of any Enphase
Microinverter manual.

Create a paper installation map to record Enphase Microinverter (and Enphase
Battery, if installed) serial numbers and positions in the array. Peel the removable
serial number label from each device and affix it to the respective location on the
installation map.

Peel the removable label from the bottom of the IQ Gateway and affix it to the installation map.
•
Always keep a copy of the installation map for your records.
NOTE: If you are setting up the IQ Gateway to monitor a non-Enphase PV system, you do
not need to create an Enphase installation map.
