Cleaning each part

To use this product always in its best condition, please clean periodically.

Head cleaning

When nozzle missing is found in nozzle check, conduct head cleaning. Head cleaning consumes ink.
If nozzle missing is occurred in specific print head, select the print head that you want to perform cleaning. In this way, you can
reduce ink waste.

There are several cleaning modes in this product. Please use them accordingly based on your usage condition.
Short cleaning
Normal cleaning
Long cleaning
Little Charge
Initial Charge
Important!
Comply strictly with the following when you performing "Little Charge" or "Initial Charge". If charging is interrupted, ink will be
lost when charging is resumed.
• Do not open the Front cover or the Maintenance cover.
• Do not use ink bags that have little ink remaining.
Consumes less ink than Normal cleaning.
Conduct nozzle check before and after printing, and use when nozzle missing is found.
Consumes more ink than Normal cleaning. When nozzle missing still occurs after Normal
cleaning, conduct Long cleaning.
Though much better cleaning results can be expected than Long cleaning, it consumes a
large amount of ink.
*This mode cannot be selected via the "Cleaning" key. Select it from the Cleaning submenu
in the Panel Setting Menus.

Gives a rather higher cleaning effect than "LittleCharge", but also consumes rather more ink.
