Software Update
Your MiFi 500 Software Update screen allows you to update your device software.
1. To check for a new software update, press the OK button (Menu) on the Home screen to display
the Menu screen.
2. Using the navigation buttons, scroll to the Software Update icon and press the OK button
(More) to open the Software Update screen and display the current software version.
3. To check for a new update, use the left navigation button to highlight Check Now, then press the
OK button to check for a new update.
4. Select OK to Exit the Software Update screen and return to the Menu screen.

Manage Settings from the Web Interface

You can also access your MiFi 500 settings on the MiFi Web Interface.
The MiFi Settings page allows you to make administration password and preference changes;
obtain software update information; and backup and restore files to your MiFi 500 device. The MiFi
Settings page contains the following menu options.
