Right-click the telnet_session icon, and select Edit from the pop-up menu.
The file is displayed in the default Windows text editor (typically Notepad).
Add two colons to the beginning of the last line, to prevent that application being called:
:: start telnet %1 %2
Delete the colons from before the 'start' command of a required application. For example:
:: cd \program files\windows nt
:: start hypertrm.exe /t %1:%2
cd \program files\windows nt
start hypertrm.exe /t %1:%2
Deleting the colons from these lines enables HyperTerminal for the next menu session.
From the menu bar, select File > Save, and then exit the file.
