EMPTYING LIQUID FROM THE PUMP HEADS AND TUBES

It is possible to set all dosing pumps to run together for the purpose of draining all liquid from the
machine. This can be useful for flushing all the tubes for maintenance jobs such as changing the
dosing pump heads or if the KH Manager needs to be disconnected and moved. To perform this
enter the 'Running Pumps' Page in the app and tap on 'Start' next to 'Empty all liquid out of tubes'.
The saltwater, test reagent and KH buffer pumps will start to run in reverse so that liquid is drained
back into the aquarium, in the case of the saltwater pump, or back into the dosing container, in the
case of the KH and test reagent pump. The waste pump will run as normal draining the test beaker.
Once all the liquid is drained tap on the start button again, now displaying 'Stop' to stop the pump
heads running. Please not that the pH probe will be exposed to air at this stage and should not be
allowed to dry, if the probe is going to be out of water for some time the storage cap should be
replaced with a enough storage solution to cover the tip of the probe and keep it hydrated, do not
use pure water (RODI) to store the pH probe.

this may take a few minutes. During the update it is important not to turn power off to the unit.
Once complete the app will display that the update is finished.
If your KH Manager is already up to date the text 'Firmware version up to date' will be displayed in
grey next to the heading 'Update'.

SETTING THE TIME

Your mobile device must be set to a 24-hour clock when using the Kamoer remote app, failure to
do this will cause the time sync to fail.
The Kamoer remote app will set the units time to match your mobile device when you log in on the
app. This will normally be displayed as a pop-up after you tap on the device icon asking if you would
like to sync the time. If you confirm it will adjust the times to match, if you select to cancel the time
will not be updated. If you are accessing your unit remotely via the cloud and your mobile device
has updated to a different time zone please be aware this will update the time of where your
mobile device is and not the time zone where the unit is. In this situation you are best to cancel
the request to sync the time.
