INSTALLATION
POSITIONING THE UNIT
The KH Manager is self-priming and can be placed above or below the water level. When there is big
difference between the unit and the water height/reagent bottles, siphoning may occur. To avoid
siphoning it should be placed in a position ensuring that the height difference is within 0.5m.
The unit should be secured into place or installed in a stable location not above open water or in
very humid environments. The surface must be flat and level to ensure correct operation.
The inlet tubes for the KH Reagent, Aquarium Water inlet and KH buffer solution should be as short
as possible and be positioned so that they always remain submerged, the outlet tube to waste and
for the KH buffer solution should be positioned so they are above water level.
