Install the Driver/Update Utility

Install the IntelliTouch Driver host application by first downloading the

file from http://www.onholdplus.com/drivers/OHP6000_FW_v.2.001.zip.

Extract the file and double-click setup. Once the installation is

complete, InstallShield will prompt you to reboot the machine.

After the reboot, put your device in recovery mode by turning the

device on while holding the play button for 10 seconds. The player's

LCD will remain blank.

Run the update utility from the start menu. Start - Programs -

IntelliTouch MP3 Player 6000 Series - MP3 6000 Series Update. At this

stage, a progress bar goes across the screen (which means that

firmware is being copied on the RAM).

Now, run the update utility for the second time. At this stage, the

updater GUI shows up. You should now run the GUI (hit 'start' on the

GUI) to load the firmware to the ROM. Note: that this 2nd step is

needed to write the configuration to permanent memory. If you

reboot after the first step, the firmware on the RAM is lost.
