Zweckbestimmung
Bei diesem Medizinprodukt handelt es sich um eine Orthese zur Ruhigstellung
des Kniegelenks in definierter (gebeugter / gestreckter) Position.
Indikationen
Präoperativ, postoperativ, posttraumatisch, Gelenk-, Muskel- oder
Bandverletzungen
Kontraindikationen
Periphere arterielle Verschlusskrankheit (PAVK), Lymphabflussstörungen
auch unklare Weichteilschwellungen körperfern des angelegten Hilfsmittels,
Empfindungs- und Durchblutungsstörungen der versorgten Körperregion,
Erkrankungen der Haut im versorgten Körperabschnitt
Anwendungsrisiken / Wichtige Hinweise
Dieses Medizinprodukt ist ein verordnungsfähiges Produkt. Sprechen Sie
Anwendung und Dauer mit Ihrem verordnenden Arzt ab. Die Auswahl der
geeigneten Größe und eine Einweisung erfolgt durch das Fachpersonal, von
dem Sie das Medizinprodukt erhalten haben.

Anziehanleitung
Die BORT ImmoXpress besteht aus 3 Teilen: Ein großes Mittelteil und 2
aufgeklettete Seitenteile.
Vor dem Anlegen der Orthese müssen die integrierten Aluminiumschienen,
welche sich in den Schienentaschen an Mittel- und Seitenteilen befinden,
an die vorliegende Körperkontur des Patienten angeformt werden.
Die gewünschte Beugestellung im Kniegelenk kann durch Verformung der
Aluminiumschienen am Mittelteil der Orthese nachjustiert werden.
Die frei positionierbaren Seitenteile ermöglichen die Anpassung an
unterschiedliche Umfangsmaße. Bei korrekter Einstellung sollten sich die
Seitenteile ca. 2 cm überlappen.
Die BORT ImmoXpress von hinten so um das Bein legen, dass die Kniescheibe
(Patella) von der Aussparung umschlossen wird.
Klettverschlüsse durch Kunststoffösen fädeln, zurückführen und unter
leichtem Zug ankletten.

Intended purpose
This medical device is a brace for immobilisation of the knee joint in a defined
position (bent / stretched).
Indications
Pre-operative, post-operative, post-traumatic, joint, muscle or ligament
injuries
Contraindications
Peripheral arterial occlusive disease (PAOD), lymph drainage disorders,
also unclear soft tissue swellings distal to the aid positioned, sensory and
circulatory disorders with the region of the body treated, skin diseases in the
part of the body treated.
Application risks / Important notes
This medical device is a prescribable product. Discuss the use and duration
with your treating physician. The expert staff from whom you have received
the medical device will select the appropriate size and instruct you regarding
its use.

– in case of numbness or pressure sores, loosen the medical device and
remove it if necessary
– in case of persistent complaints, consult the physician or specialist retailer
– use the medical device in accordance with therapeutic needs
– only use other products simultaneously after consultation with your
physician

– do not wear it on open wounds
– do not use in case of intolerance of one of the materials used
– no re-use. This medical aid is intended for treating one patient only
Fitting instructions
The BORT ImmoXpress consists of 3 parts: A large centrepiece and 2 side
parts attached with Velcro. Before fitting the brace, the integrated aluminium
splints located in the splint bags in the middle and side sections must be
adapted to the patient's existing body contours. The desired flexion position
in the knee joint can be readjusted by forming the aluminium splints on the
centre part of the brace. The side parts which can be freely positioned enable
adaption to different circumference measurements. The side parts should
overlap by about 2 cm if correctly adjusted.
Place the BORT ImmoXpress around the leg from behind so that the kneecap
(patella) is enclosed within the recess from behind. Thread Velcro fasteners
through plastic eyelets, guide them back and attach them with Velcro under

Contre-indications
Artériopathie oblitérante périphérique (AOP), troubles de la circulation
lymphatique y compris tuméfaction des tissus mous d'origine inconnue de
l'aide posée, troubles de sensation et de la circulation sanguine des régions
corporelles traitées, maladies cutanées sur les zones traitées.
Risques inhérents à l'utilisation / Remarques importantes
Ce dispositif médical est un produit prescrit sur ordonnance. Consultez votre
médecin prescripteur pour en connaître l'utilisation et la durée de port. Le
choix de la taille ainsi qu'une présentation du produit seront réalisés par le
personnel spécialisé qui vous fournira ce dispositif médical.

Zum Ablegen des Produkts die Gurtbänder lösen, die Orthese vom Bein
abnehmen.

Anwendung, Nichtbeachtung der Anwendungsrisiken, -hinweise sowie

Nutzungsdauer / Lebensdauer des Produkts
Die Lebensdauer des Medizinprodukts wird durch den natürlichen Verschleiß
bei sach- und anwendungsgemäßem Umgang bestimmt.
Meldepflicht
Kommt es bei der Anwendung des Medizinproduktes zu einer
schwerwiegenden Verschlechterung des Gesundheitszustandes, dann
melden Sie dies Ihrem Fachhändler oder uns als Hersteller sowie dem BfArM
(Bundesinstitut für Arzneimittel und Medizinprodukte).

Guarantee
The legal regulations of the country in which you acquired the product apply
to the purchased product. Please contact your specialist retailer if you suspect
a warranty claim. Please clean the product before submitting a warranty
claim. If the enclosed instructions for use have not been properly observed,
the warranty may be impaired or cancelled. The warranty does not cover use
of the product inappropriate for the indication, non-observance of application
risks, instructions and unauthorised modifications to the product.
Useful life / Lifetime of the product
The lifetime of the medical device is determined by its natural wear and tear if
treated appropriately and as recommended.
Duty of notification
If a serious worsening of the state of health occurs when using the
medical device, you are obliged to notify the specialist dealer or us as the
manufacturer and the Medicines & Healthcare products Regulatory Agency
(MHRA).

Instruction d'application
BORT ImmoXpress est composé de 3 parties : une grande partie centrale
et 2 parties latérales agrafées. Avant la pose de l'orthèse, les attelles en
aluminium intégrées qui se trouvent dans les poches de l'attelle au niveau des
parties centrales et latérales doivent épouser la forme du corps du patient. La
position de flexion souhaitée dans l'articulation du genou peut être réajustée
en déformant les attelles en aluminium sur la partie centrale de l'orthèse.
Les parties latérales librement positionnables permettent de s'adapter aux
différentes dimensions de la circonférence. Lorsque le réglage est correct, les
parties latérales doivent se chevaucher d'environ 2 cm.
Placer BORT ImmoXpress autour de la jambe par l'arrière de manière à ce
que la rotule soit entourée par l'évidement. Enfiler les fermetures Velcro dans
les œillets en plastique, les ramener et les attacher en tirant légèrement
dessus. Poser BORT ImmoXpress de façon à ce que l'articulation du genou
