DRY SUIT OWNER MANUAL
Air outlet valve blocked in closed position
If the exhaust valve becomes stuck in the closed position. The drysuit will not
ventilate properly. Thhis can lead to an uncontrolled ascent.
If the air release valve becomes stuck in the closed position, open either the neck or
arm cuff to deflate. During this emergency measure, some water will get into the
drysuit.
If enough air cannot be deflated and you experience an uncontrolled ascent, spread
your body to slow the ascent rate. Extend your arms and legs away from your body,
bring your fins parallel to the surface of the water, and try to use the resistance to
slow your ascent. Do not forget to exhale as you ascent.
Weak air leakage at the air inlet valve
If you notice weak air leakage from the air inlet valve, pull the low pressure inflator
hose and stop the dive immediately. Ascend while deflating the expanding air in the
drysuit as normal through the vent valve.
