DRY SUIT OWNER MANUAL
o Plastic
Close the zipper and grease it (silicone) from the outside. Pull the zipper
up and down after so you can spot broken teeth or theet that are not
hooked together. These are typical for a broken zipper. If your dry diving
suit is obviously damaged, bring it to your Authorized SCUBA FORCE
dealer for a repair.
If your dry diving suit was stored away for over a month, do the things
above well in advance of your planned dive . Make sure you have
enough time for your repair, since you might have to wait for parts.
• Valves
Check the inlet valve and the exhaust valve before EVERY dive. The air inlet
valve should be checked by plugging your regulator into a full bottle and
pressing the air inlet button.
The air inlet valve should be lubricated by injecting a small amount of silicone
spray into the valve system. Use a spray bottle with a plastic applicator tube
so you can put the silicone direclty into the small openings on the stem of the
air inlet valve.
To check the air outlet valve, tie the neck and arm cuffs with rubber bands
and inflate the drysuit until air escapes through the air outlet valve. Grasp the
exhaust valve; press it to check the manual overpressure function.
Manual Version DS2019-1
DO NOT use silicone spray on your zipper. A build-up of
silicone can makie your dry suit difficult to repair.
