Diving with a mono (single) bottle
Since the diver uses the air from a single bottle, he gets more buoyancy. Depending
on the tank size, this weight change can be up to 5-6 lbs (2-3kg) over the entire dive.
An air volume of 4-6 pts (2-3l) is required to compensate for this change in weight.
This volume o fair can be contained in the drysuit or the BCD, or it can be divided
between the two. A lot of divers manage to stay neutrally buoyed by just adding air to
the suit. However, some prefer to put air in the BCD to keep the open air bubble in
the suit small for better trim control.
Diving with multiple bottles
Due to the greater change in weight during the dive, the diver should keep the gas
bubble in the dry suit to a minimum and control the buoyancy largely via the BCD.
Start of the dive
Make sure at the beginning of the dive that the air release valve is fully open by
turning it counterclockwise. To automatically let all the air out of the suit, raise your
left elbow to bring the valve to the highest point on your body. With your mask on,
you may not be able to see the valve, but you should be able to hear the air coming
out. Descend by deflating the BCD.
Descent
After you descend to ten feet (3m) you will begin to descend faster. Leave the air
outlet valve open all the time. Do not close the air outlet valve. Let some air into your
drysuit. Small bursts of air will regulate the volume of air that gets into your suit and
helps preventing your valve from freezing when the water temperature is below
(4.4 ° C). Just add enough air to remove the uncomfortable pressure. Too much air
will stop the descent.
To equalize pressure in your foot, you need to get air into your shoes. Air can only
get into your shoes if you are parallel to the surface or in a swimming position with
your feet above your head..

CAUTION
The diver him/herself has to make sure he/she has got
enough air in the suit. If theres not enough They might get
cold.
Differences i bottle size and material lead to different weight
requirements in order to compensate for the change in
buoyancy when the bottle is emptied.
NOTE
DO NOT close the air release while underwater. The valve is
designed to automatically vent air when the valve is at the
highest point of your body. Closing the valve increases the
