DRY SUIT OWNER MANUAL
Wear neck cuffs
Latex
• Position the drysuit on your head.
• Grasp the neck cuff from outside the suit by grasping the inside of the neck
opening with both hands.
• Spread the cuff wide with your flat hands (do not dig your fingernails into the
neck cuff). Your thumbs should stay outside the cuff.
• Spread apart the neck cuff as far as you can apart, turn your head sideways
and pull the neck cuff over your head.
• The cuff should be flat against your skin. It should not be wrinkles or
anything under the cuff, e.g. Collar of the diving clothes.
Neopren
• Position the drysuit on your head.
• From the outside, place your hands flat on the outside of the cuff.
• Push your head through the neck cuff and pull with your hands. Stop as
soon as the upper edge of the cervical collar reaches your chin.
• To achieve a seal, fold the top of the neck cuff as long as the cuff still
touches your chin. Fold the upper edge of the cuff in and around the neck.
About 4cm of the smooth surface of the cuff should lie flat against your neck.
• The cuff should be flat against your skin. There should be no wrinkles or
anything under the cuff, e.g. Collar of the diving clothes.
