Using the Printer
ON LINE
This button controls the printer's on line/
off line status. When on line, the printer
can receive and print data.
FORM FEED
Off line: press this button to eject a single
sheet of paper or advance continuous
paper to the top of the next page. On line:
you can use

LINE FEED
Off line: press this button to feed
one line or hold it down to feed the paper
continuously. On line: you can use
micro-adjustment feature by pressing this
button to reverse the paper.
LOAD/EJECT
off line: press this button to load paper if
paper is not loaded, or to eject it if paper is
loaded. Paper is ejected forward if the
paper release lever is set to the single sheet
position, and is ejected backward
(removed from the paper path) if the
release lever is set to the continuous paper
position.
BIN 1/BIN 2
On line: press this button to change
between bin 1 and bin 2 on the optional
dual-bin cut sheet feeder. The beeper
sounds once if bin 1 is selected, or twice if
bin 2 is selected.
