The front manual feed slot is open,
but no paper is loaded.
The front manual feed slot is opened
during operation.

What to do
Remove the ink cartridge, and install an ink
cartridge that can be used with this printer.
See "Consumable Products" on page 220.
Replace the ink cartridge with a genuine
Epson ink cartridge. See "Replacing Ink
Cartridges" on page 162 and "Consumable
Products" on page 220.
Select DECLINE (press the Menu/Right r
button) to replace the ink cartridge with a
genuine Epson ink cartridge. See "Replacing
Ink Cartridges" on page 162. Otherwise, select
ACCEPT (press the Back/Left l button).
Remove the ink cartridge and reinstall it. If
this message appears after reinstalling the ink
cartridge, replace it. See "Replacing Ink
Cartridges" on page 162.
Install an ink cartridge.
Open the front manual feed slot by pushing
it. If necessary, remove the paper.
Load a sheet of paper in the front manual
feed slot, and then press the Paper Feed/
Down d button.
Close the front manual feed slot by pushing it.
