OpenVPN

OpenVPN allows the creation of a VPN tunnel, which makes it possible to establish a secure connec-
tion remotely without a direct connection to a system.
The OpenVPN menu item in the VPN menu contains a list of OpenVPN instances. Here you can edit
and delete existing instances, add new ones, and upload OVPN configuration files.

When editing an instance, you can switch between the Advanced settings and a Simplified configura-
tion. In the Simplified configuration, all the options are displayed on one page, while in the Advanced
settings, the options are divided into 4 categories: Service, Networking, VPN and Cryptography. More
detailed configuration options are also available there.
First the process for setting up a VPN connection to the access point is explained, while Chap-
ter 8.31.3 Simplified configuration, page 73 and Chapter 8.31.4 Advanced settings, page 76 cover the
parameters available during editing.
