Phone operation
Entering phone number
— Enter the phone number using the numeric key-
pad in the Phone menu.
The displayed numeric keypad can also be
used to search for contacts.
For example, if you enter 32, the unit will display
contacts with the letter combination DA, FA, EB, etc.
next to the numerical keypad.
List of phone contacts
The list of phone contacts is imported from the main
connected phone.
— To display the contact list, tap
menu.
— To search in the list, enter your search details.
— To dial a contact, select the desired contact and
tap the number.
If a contact has multiple phone numbers, select the
phone number from the displayed list.
— To display a contact, tap on the desired contact.
Phone conversation
Depending on the context of the phone conversa-
tion, the following functions can be selected:
End dialling / Reject incoming call / End call
Answering an incoming call / Returning to
the held call
/ Switch off/on the speakers and switching the
call tone from the speakers to the phone
Holding a call
/ Switch the microphone off/on
Display numeric keypad
Dial another number
Settings for the Infotainment sys-
tem phone functions
Phone – Infotainment connection types
The way in which the phone is connected depends
on the number of phones currently connected to the
Infotainment system.
— No phone – the phone is connected as the main
phone.
— One phone – the phone is connected as an addi-
tional phone.
— Two phones – select the phone to be replaced.

— To switch between the main phone and the addi-
tional phone, tap

— Find available Bluetooth® devices on the phone.
— Select the Infotainment Bluetooth® device.
Find the name of the unit in the
tooth Bluetooth name
— Enter and confirm the PIN.
Connecting the Infotainment system to an unpaired
phone
— Tap
— Select the desired device from the list of available
devices.

— Select the hands-free Bluetooth® profile.
— Enter and confirm the PIN.
— If two devices are connected to the Infotainment
system, select the device to be replaced.
Connecting the Infotainment system to a previously
paired phone
— Tap
— Select the desired device from the list of available
devices.
The selected device can be connected via the
most recently used Bluetooth® profile.
— If two devices are connected to the Infotainment
system, select the device to be replaced.

The preferred contact is displayed at the top of the
