Assembly:
The assembly is a two-person operation.
1. Inspect the shipping container contents for damage and to determine that all components and hardware are present.
2. Place the Bench Legs and the Bench Seat on the
shipping packaging or other soft surface to avoid
scratching the product.
3. Use soft or padded supports to hold the Bench
Seat at the approximate height and orientation of
the assembled bench. While one person steadies
the Bench Seat, the other person positions one
of the Bench Legs at the appropriate end of
the bench. The back rest and the seat look very
similar, so be sure that the contour of the edge of
the Bench Seat matches the design of the Bench
Leg. Reposition the Bench Seat if necessary to get
the proper alignment. When the Seat edge aligns
with the Bench Leg design, the mounting holes
in the Bench Leg will align the threaded holes in
edge of the Bench Seat.
NoTe: Before assembling, it is recommended that a
light oil or petroleum jelly be applied to the screw
threads.
4. Install one of the Phillips Truss Head Screws
through the Bench Leg. Install a Washer on the
end of the Screw before proceeding into the
threaded hole in the Bench Seat. Tighten the
Screw finger tight so that adjustments can be
made later to level the Bench Seat.
5. Install the second Phillips Screw into the other
mounting hole, add a Washer between the Bench
Leg and the Bench Seat, and tighten the Screw
finger tight.
