VGA Enable/Disable
Use jumper JPG1 to enable or disable the VGA port using the onboard graphics controller.
The default setting is Enabled.
Management Engine (ME) Recovery
Use jumper JPME1 to select ME Firmware Recovery mode, which will limit resource
allocation for essential system operation only in order to maintain normal power operation
and management. In the single operation mode, online upgrade will be available via Recovery
mode.
Manufacturing Mode Select
Close pins 2-3 of jumper JPME2 to bypass SPI flash security and force the system to operate
in the manufacturing mode, which will allow you to flash the system firmware from a host
server for system setting modifications.
Watch Dog
JWD1 controls the Watchdog function. Watchdog is a monitor that can reboot the system when
a software application hangs. Jumping pins 1-2 will cause Watchdog to reset the system if
an application hangs. Jumping pins 2-3 will generate a non-maskable interrupt signal for the
application that hangs. Watchdog must also be enabled in BIOS.
Note: When Watchdog is enabled, users must write their own application software to disable it.
