    Introduction Network Wide Backup & Restore The Network Wide Backup & Restore Release 1.0 optional application enables the INM user to easily restore NE, Express NPC, or OPC/MOA lost data. The backup feature provides the ability to centralize and automate the backup of NE database and OPC configuration data to an INM server.

    2-2 Installation of Network Wide Backup & Restore Procedure 2-1 Installing the Network Wide Backup & Restore optional application Use this procedure to install the Network Wide Backup & Restore software. Requirements Read this requirements section and the entire procedure through once before starting the procedure.
  • Page 17 <full path name> A directory called /inmbr will be created under the directory specified in this step (for example, the default directory will be /opt/nortel/inmbr). If you override the default with a directory called /my/directory/, the Backup & Restore software will be installed under /my/directory/inmbr.

Note: If you receive a message about software not installed, review the requirements for installing the Network Wide Backup & Restore application. When the installation script has finished, the system returns to the UNIX prompt.
