Several products are now being built specifically for mobile communication devices. The resin used in Vocera devices has been explicitly selected for its resistance to chemicals and to UV degradation. Although no long-term evaluation has yet been conducted, early test exposure to UV cleaning indicates that this would cause no adverse effects to Vocera devices.
